PROPOSED SUNDAY OPENING OF DEPARTMENTAL LIBRARIES

(19) The Law Club has made a formal request that the Law Librarian be authorized to open the Law Library on Sunday afternoons. I have asked the advice of the Council of Administration on this matter, and the Council has expressed itself to the following effect: "(1) that i would be unwise to make an exception to the general University t policy in the case of the Law School Library, (2) that i is not desirabele to have det partmental or seminar libraries open on Sunday." T h e Board did not think it wise to m a k e an exception to its rules in this case.
