take-downs, ranging from $2.50 per thousand dollars of bonds to $6.25 per thousand dollars of bonds depending upon type of bond and maturity. Additional co-managers may be added to assist in the marketing and sale of the bonds; 4. Preparation of a Preliminary Official Statement, a Bond Resolution, and other necessary documents; 5. Search for updated bond ratings if necessary; and 6. Negotiations with bond insurers and other credit enhancement and liquidity support providers, as needed. As indicated earlier, final actions required to issue such bonds will be brought to the Board at a subsequent meeting. I concur.

Amendment to Extend the Mile Square Health Center Agreement, Chicago

(15) The interim chancellor at Chicago recommends that the comptroller and secretary be authorized to execute an amendment to the current agreement with the City of Chicago for the operation of the Mile Square Health Center, located at 2045 West Washington Boulevard, Chicago, extending the agreement to a date not later than June 30, 1996. The current contract is effective December 10, 1990, through December 31, 1995. This extension will provide sufficient time to complete negotiations for a longterm agreement that involves changes in the roles and relationship of the two parties. Funds are available in the Mile Square Health Center Operating Fund. The vice president for business and finance recommends approval. I concur.

Award of Contract for Audit Services for Telecommunications, Chicago

(16) The interim chancellor at Chicago has recommended contracting with D-Square Communications, Ltd., (D-Square), Chicago, a telecommunications audit firm, to audit UIC's telecommunications bills for the purpose of recovering from vendors any inappropriate charges. This request also includes approval to disburse departmental funds should the "success fee" compensation exceed $50,000. D-Square Communications, Ltd., a registered minority firm in Illinois, has the expertise and experience to search for billing errors, and proposes to perform the following services:
