The first area is on the west side of campus bounded by Oak Street, First Street, Gregory Drive, and a line extending west from Peabody Drive. This area is to be developed into athletic fields, including intramural football fields, soccer fields, basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, and a roller blade hockey court. Fields will be fenced, lit, and irrigated. The site is also to include a service and storage facility. The second area is on the southwest corner of Lincoln and Florida Avenue. The site will contain a fenced soccer field. The award of these contracts will allow the construction of the service and storage facility with supporting mechanical and utility systems and will provide site lighting. Previously awarded was site construction work. Funds are available from the proceeds of the Auxiliary Facilities System Series 1993 Revenue Bond issue. A schedule of the bids received has been filed with the secretary of the board for record.
