instructional space. Securing equipment to support major buildings now in the planning or construction stages and modest land acquisition needs also receive high priority. The University's operating and capital requests for FY 1994 have been prepared by the vice president for academic affairs based upon advice and recommendations from the University Planning Council and reviewed by the University Policy Council. I recommend approval.

On motion of Mrs. Gravenhorst, these requests were approved as recommended by the following vote: Aye, Dr. Bacon, Mr. Boyle, Mrs. Calder, Mr. Downey, Mr. Grabowski, Mrs. Gravenhorst, Mr. Lamont, Ms. Reese; no, none; absent, Governor Edgar, Mrs. Shepherd.
