companies nationwide providing such services. Through the contract, NLI provides qualified therapists and equipment to administer treatment to patients diagnosed with incontinence. Treatment is administered in the hospital's Clinic for Neuromuscular Reeducation. The hospital and clinics will market this service to adults, utilizing state-of-the-art biofeedback techniques. The renewal agreement will be effective May 15, 1993, through June 30, 1994, with an option to renew for an additional year. Payments to NLI are estimated at $160,000. Funds are available in the Hospital Income Fund. The vice president for business and finance recommends approval. I concur.

Contracts with Affiliated Hospitals, Peoria

(17) The chancellor at Chicago has recommended the renewal of contractual agreements with eligible hospitals affiliated with the College of Medicine to provide compensation in Fiscal Year 1993 for the cost of operating and maintaining physical facilities, constructed with State of Illinois grants (through the Illinois Board of Higher Education), for the conduct of medical education programs. It is proposed that such contractual agreements be executed between the University and the institutions listed below: College of Medicine at Peoria Methodist Medical Center of Illinois Proctor Community Hospital Saint Francis Hospital Medical Center Grand Total Estimated Annual Cost1 $ 39 393 24 786 99 275 $163 454

It is further recommended that the chancellor, with the concurrence of the appropriate officers, be granted authority to approve changes in the amounts to any of the institutions as needed, but within the $163,454 allocation. State appropriated funds for these agreements are included in the operating budget of the Chicago campus. The vice president for business and finance concurs. I recommend approval.
