MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS September 14, 1920 The quarterly meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was called, in accordance with the rules, for September 14, 1920, at 10:30 a. m., at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago. When the Board convened, there was present President Carr and Mr. Abbott. President Kinley was also present. As there was no quorum, the Board adjourned to meet at the Blackstone Hotel in Chicago at 10:30 a* m., on Tuesday, September 28, 1920. DAVID KINLEY* Secretary pro tempore* ADJOURNED SESSION, SEPTEMBER 28, 1920 When the Board convened at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 10:30 a. m., on Tuesday, September 28, 1920, pursuant to the adjournment taken on September 14, the following members were present: President Carr, Mr. Abbott, Mrs. Blake, Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Herbert, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Trimble, Mr. Ward. President Kinley was present. MINUTES APPROVED The Secretary presented the minutes of the meeting of July 26, 1920. On motion of Mr. Abbott, the minutes were approved as printed on pages 1-69, above. 71
