The Secretary presented also for Mr. Abbott, Chairman of the Executive Committee, the following report:

Agreeable to instructions from the Board (see page 157), President Kinley has had prepared a form of procedure to govern expenditures from the Stadium Fund, and this form, which has been approved by the Executive Committee, reads as follows: PROPOSED PROCEDURE FOR EXPENDITURES FROM THE STADIUM FUND 1. Requisitions and Vouchers University requisitions and vouchers will be issued for all expenditures from tKe Stadium Fund. These forms will be drawn on order of the committee by the Secretary of the Stadium committee and will be approved by the Chairman of the finance sub-committee of the Stadium committee. A record of all requisitions drawn and vouchers approved will be kept for the Stadium committee by the Secretary of the committee. The Secretary of the committee will also maintain a record of contracts for construction as approved by the Board of Trustees, and will issue vouchers for payment on these contracts on the certificate of the officer in charge of the construction. 2. Warrants. The Comptroller of the University will issue warrants against the Treasurer of the Stadium Fund for vouchers presented to him as above. These warrants will be drawn in the manner provided for other funds of the University.

Accounts. The accounts and reports of the Stadium Fund will be kept under the direction of the Comptroller of the University. Monthly reports certified to by the Comptroller will be rendered to the Stadium Committee, and quarterly reports to the Board of Trustees of the University.

The Board considered the following matters presented by the President of the University.

CESSION O F LAND FOR HIGHWAY IN J A S P E R COUNTY (1) A report that as it had seemed wise to grant the request of the Highway Commissioner of Jasper County for a strip of land for the proposed state highway (see Minutes, January 11, 1922, page 143), a deed had been prepared and executed; and a request that the action of the President of the University be approved, and the signing of the quitclaim deed be ratified.

On motion of Mr. Herbert, the action of the President of the University in this matter was approved and the following resolution was adopted:

WHEREAS, the President of this Board, William L. Abbott, on the ninth day of March, 1922, executed quitclaim deed to the County of Jasper of the State of Illinois, to all interest in the following described real estate to-wit: A strip and parcel of land of the approximate width of ninteen and one-half feet from the south side of the east thirty acres of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of section Three (3), Town Six (6) North, Range Nine (9) East of the Third Principal Meridian, bounded as follows: Commencing at a point nineteen feet north of the Southeast corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said Section Three, thence South Nineteen feet, thence West
