MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES —OF THE— UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS March 14, 1922 The annual meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 10 o'clock a. m. on Tuesday, March 14, 1922. When the Board convened, the following members were present: President Abbott, Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Herbert, Mr. Hoit. President Kinley was present. A recess was taken until 10:30 a. m. EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING, MARCH 14, 1922 A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held during the recess in the meeting of the Board on Tuesday, March 14, 1922. Mr. W. L. Abbott, Chairman, Mrs. Mary E. Busey, and Mr. 0 . W. Hoit, members of the Committee, Mrs. Laura B. Evans and Mr. John M. Herbert, members of the Board, and President Kinley were present. COMPENSATION FOR INJURIES TO EMPLOYEES On motion of Mrs. Busey, and on recommendation of President Kinley, the following claims for compensation for injuries to employees, as allowed by the Committee on Compensation, were ordered paid from the Reserve and Contingent fund: Case of SAM STARK— To Dr. C. SECOND SESSION, MARCH 14, 1922 When the Board convened after the recess on the morning of March 14, 1922, the same persons were present as at 10 a. m., and also Mrs. Helen M. Grigsby, a member of the Board. M I N U T E S APPROVED The Secretary presented the minutes of the meeting of February 8, 1922. The minutes were approved as printed on pages 149 to 166 above. 167
