158 BOARD OF TRUSTEES [February 8 (3) That this committee be instructed by the Athletic Association that in carrying on its work it shall consider itself also the agent of the Board of Trustees, shall make no contracts of importance and adopt no architectural plans or do any other business of importance connected with the location and erection of the Stadium without approval of the Board of Trustees; that it be instructed to consult freely on any phase of its activities with the appropriate officers of the Board; and that it report to the Board at its next meetings anything of importance that has come up since the-last meeting or anything that requires Board action; (4) That the Board of Trustees be requested to accept this committee as a committee of its own as well as a committee of the Athletic Association, for the purpose for which it is appointed. F. A. SCHARFENBERG, President C. E. BOWEN, Secretary On motion of Mr. Abbott, these resolutions were concurred in. At this point, President Abbott resumed the chair. APPROPRIATION O F S T A D I U M F U N D S (26) A recommendation that $50,000 be appropriated from Stadium receipts to be used by the Stadium Committee for the work of building the Stadium; and that this money be available when a method of operation is devised and approved. On motion of Mr. Trimble, this appropriation was made, to be effective when a method of operation shall have been approved by the Executive Committee. The vote was as follows: Aye, Mr. Abbott, Mrs. Blake, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Noble, Mr. Trimble; no, none; absent, Mr. Blair, Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Grigsby, Mr. Herbert, Mr. Small.
