On motion of Mr. Abbott, these committees were appointed.

PURCHASE O F L A N D (10) A recommendation from the Supervising Architect that the undivided twofifths interest of L. E. Morris in the Nirider tract of approximately six acres (west of Mt. Hope Cemetery) on South Fifth Street, Champaign, being Lot fifteen (IS) of William Williamson's Subdivision, be purchased for $1200 an acre, free of all incumbrances except taxes for 1921.

On motion of Mrs. Evans, this purchase was authorized. The appropriation ($2900) was made by the following vote: Aye, Mr. Abbott, Mrs. Blake, Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Noble; no, none; absent, Mr. Blair, Mrs. Grigsby, Mr. Herbert, Mr. Small, Mr. Trimble.

The Secretary presented also for record the following list of Student Assistants in Military Science, appointed by President Kinley on November 2, 1921, to give ten months service, beginning September 1, 1921, at a compensation of one hundred dollars ($100).
