A N N U L M E N T O F CONTRACT FOR T H E PUBLICATION OF T H E JOURNAL OF EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH (7) The following statement: The Public School Publishing Company, through its President, Mr. George A. Brown, under date of September 29, notified me of their desire to annul the contract with the University for the publication of the Journal of Educational Research. While there would be very good ground for questioning the legality of Mr. Brown's action in discontinuing his connection with the University without ts consent, yet the matter is not of sufficient importance to justify a prolonged controversy or to make it desirable to enforce the continued observance of the contract. I have acknowledged the receipt of Mr. Brown's letter and think no further action is necessary.

This statement was received for record.
