Industrial Administration: Economics 22 (Economic History of the United States) to be dropped. Economics 18 (Personnel Management) to ibe substituted for Economics 12a. Accountancy 2a (Intermediate Accounting) to be added. Economics 12b to be dropped as an alternative.

These changes were approved.

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS IN MEDICINE

(27) A recommendation from the University Senate that the requirements for admission to the College of Medicine be modified as follows: Students whoi begin their medical work after October 15, 1921, shall be required to present 4 semester hours in organic chemistry as a part of the prescription of 12 semester hours in chemistry.

This recommendation was approved.

COMBINED CURRICULUM IN SCIENCE AND DENTISTRY (28) A recommendation from the University Senate for the approval of the following subject requirements of a combined curriculum in dentistry and science. This curriculum was approved in principle by the Board on March 9, 1920. 1. High School Requirement: English —.. 3 units Algebra 1 unit Plane Geometry . 1 unit Physics with laboratory work 1 unit Electives 9 units 2. College Requirement: Two years in a recognized college or university with a minimum of sixty semester hours, distributed as follows: Chemistry 12 semester hours Physics 6 semester hours Biology __. 8 semester hours English 6 semester hours German, French, Spanish, or Italian .- 6 semester hours Electives (not including chemistry, physics or biology) 6 semester hours Free electives -_ , 16 semester hours

This curriculum was approved.

SUMMER TERM IN T H E COLLEGE OF DENTISTRY

(29) A request for the approval of a summer term in the College of Dentistry, to begin June 15, 1921, and end September 1, 1921; and for the approval also of an incidental fee of $25 to be charged of students registering in this summer term. The purpose of this is: 1. The removal of conditions earned through sickness or other reasonable causes. 2. To provide for advanced work in general, and in particular to provide for students who desire to carry on a piece of research during the school year. 3. To provide for post-graduate instruction.

This summer term and the incidental fee of $25 were approved.
