ILLINI HALL AND CAFETERIA

(19) A recommendation that the University should not renew the lease for Illini Hall and Cafeteria.

On motion of Mrs. Blake, this recommendation was concurred in.

WARM AIR FURNACE INVESTIGATION

(20) A request for the approval of the extension for another year, from April 1, 1921, to April 1, 1922, of the agreement with the National Warm Air Heating and Ventilating Association for a cooperative investigation of warm air furnaces and furnace heating systems. (Minutes, pages 493, 773.) The Association at a recent meeting at Cleveland voted unanimiously to continue this agreement with the University, and set aside the sum of $8000 for the expenses of the investigation. Dean Richards recommends that the agreement be extended.

This request was granted.

PATENT ON DR. KUNZ'S PHOTO-ELECTRIC CELL

(21) A report that the U. S. Patent Office has granted a patent on the Photo-Electrie Cell invented by Dr. Jakob Kunz, Associate Professor of Physics. Dr. Kunz had previously assigned his rights in this patent to the University for the sum of one dollar. The University has paid the fee of $20 required by the U. S. Patent Office for printing and issuing the patent.

ACCIDENT TO W E N D E L L NUDING

(22) A report, for record, that on May 6, 1921, one of the University trucks ran over eight year old Wendell Nuding at the northwest corner of the Engine Annex. There seems to be no reason for blaming our truckmen for the accident, as they were moving very slowly. The boy was taken to the Burnham Hospital, and Dr. Schowengerdt was called to attend him, The Supervising Architect has advised the parties concerned that if the parents are unable to meet the bill for the setting of the limb, including an X-Ray examination if necessary, and a plaster cast, the University will undoubtedly allow the bill; but that beyond that point the University will not assume any responsibility.

ARCHITECTS FOR T H E STADIUM

(23) A recommendation from the Athletic Association Committee on the Stadium that Holabird and Roche be designated as Architects for the Stadium; and a letter from Professor L. H. Provine setting forth the qualifications of certain members of his department to act as architects of the Stadium.

This matter was discussed at some length, and it was understood that it would be considered further at a subsequent meeting.

(24) TABLET OF LINCOLN'S GETTYSBURG ADDRESS A resolution adopted by the American Legion requesting that the
