The Secretary presented for record the following list of appointments made by President Kinley:

Andrews, J. H., Assistant Bursar, at a salary of one hundred thirty-three and onethird dollars ($133.33) a month, from January 1, 1921, to September 1, 1921, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. This appointment supersedes his previous appointment. (December 21, 1920)* Andrews, J. W., Assistant in Chemistry, on one-half time, for five months, beginning February 1, 1921, at a salary of sixty dollars ($60) a month. This appointment supersedes his previous appointment. (December 24, 1920) Barth, Oris, Instructor in Law, for five months, beginning January 5, 1921, at a salary of two hundred dollars ($200) a month. (January 7, 1921) Beshoar, Pauline, Stenographer in the Junior Extension Department, in SmithLever Service, from January 1, 1921, to September 1, 1921, at a salary of ninety dollars ($90) a month. This appointment supersedes her previous appointment. (December 23, 1920) Blacker^ Virla, Stenographer in the Dairy Department in the College of Agriculture, at a salary of eighty-five dollars ($85) a month, from January 1, 1921, to September 1,1921, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. This appointment supersedes her previous appointment. (December 23, 1920) Boucher, Nellie, Editorial Assistant in the Department of Agronomy, in the College of Agriculture and the Agricultural Experiment Station, at a salary of one hundred dollars ($100) a month, from January 1, 1921, to September 1, 1921, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (January 8, 1921) Carothers, W. H., Assistant in Chemistry, on one-half time, for five months, beginning February 1,1921, at a salary of sixty dollars ($60) a month. .This appointment supersedes his previous appointment. (December 24, 1920) Castle, R. D. V., Assistant Purchasing Agent in the Business Office, at a salary of one hundred seventy-five dollars ($175) a month, from January 1,1921, to September 1, 1921, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission.
