MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES or THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS December 14, 1920 The quarterly meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at ten o'clock a.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 1920. The following members were present: President Carr, Mr. Abbott, Mrs. Blake, Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Ward. President Kinley was present. M I N U T E S APPROVED The Secretary presented the Minutes of the meeting of November 19, 1920. The Minutes were approved as printed on pages 105 to 153 above. M A T T E R S S U B M I T T E D BY P R E S I D E N T K I N L E Y The Board considered the following matters submitted by the President of the University. LEAVE O F A B S E N C E FOR MR. W. A. ALLISON (1) A recommendation that leave of absence, on half salary, for one year beginning January 1, 1921, be granted to Mr. W. A. Allison, Associate in Animal Husbandry, because of illness. On motion of Mrs. Busey, this recommendation was approved. A T H L E T I C ASSOCIATION PROPOSES T O B U I L D S T A D I U M (2) A request from the Athletic Association, through Director G. A* Huff, fot authority to undertake a campaign to raise funds for building a stadium. 155
