These requests were granted,

SOCIAL HYGIENE BOARD FELLOWSHIPS IN CHEMISTRY (4) A recommendation from the Executive Faculty of the Graduate School that $3,000 of the $3,500 fund accepted by the Board of Trustees January 16, 1920, (page 667), from the U. S. Interdepartmental Social Hygiene Board be expended in establishing three $800 fellowships and one $600 fellowship in Chemistry; and "that the holders of these fellowships be given the same privileges as holders of University fellowships or persons holding the DuPont or Carr Fellowships in Chemistry." I recommend the approval of these recommendations, except that the appointees of these fellowships should be required to pay for materials used and special equipment provided.

These recommendations were approved, with the exception mentioned by the Acting President.

1 Short course in Farm Tractors June 8 to 10. ?To be charged to surplus from regular session 1919-20, estimated 31,000.
