The Continental & Commercial Bank Building has given notice that a renewal of the lease can be had only on payment of a rental of $108.75 a month, or $1305 for the year. I recommend that the Comptroller be given authority to draw up a new lease on these terms.

On motion of Mr. Blair, this recommendation was approved, by the following vote: Ayes, Mr. Abbott, Mr. Blair, Mrs. Blake, Mrs. Busey, Mr. Carr, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Herbert, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Ward; no, none; absent, Mr. Lowden, Mr. Trimble.

RESERVE AND INCIDENTAL FUND (12) A statement that the Reserve and Incidental Fund on January 12,1920, was $61,011.63.

This report was received for record.

GIFT FROM U. S. INTERDEPARTMENTAL SOCIAL HYGIENE BOARD (13) A statement that the University had received a gift of $3500 from the U. S« Interdepartmental Social Hygiene Board, to be used for experimental work on certain arsenic compounds.

On motion of Mr. Abbott, this gift was accepted for the purposes specified. LABORATORY FEES IN ATHLETIC COACHING

(14) A recommendation that the following laboratory fees in courses in Athletic Coaching be approved, to be in effect as of September 1, 1919. A. C. 30 $1.00 A. C.31 1.00 A. C.40 1.00 A. C. 41 1.00 A. C. 50 3.00

On motion of Mr. Blair, these fees were approved.

CONTRACT FOR STATISTICAL HISTORY (15) A recommendation Press, that the contract page 560) be awarded to Bloomington, Illinois, on from Mr. H. E. Cunningham, Director of the University for printing the Statistical History of the University (see the Pantagraph Printing and Stationery Company, of the basis of their bid of $1520 for 1500 books of 224 pages.

On motion of Mr. Blair, this recommendation was approved. At this point, Mr. Blair withdrew. President Carr, being called from the room, requested Mrs. Evans to preside over the meeting. President Carr returned during the presentation of the next item.

INCREASE OF INCIDENTAL FEE (16) A statement concerning the advisability of increasing the Incidental Fee, now $15 a semester.

On motion of Mrs. Blake, the Acting President of the Universitywas requested to submit a statement concerning this matter at the next meeting of the Board.
