APPOINTMENTS TO F I L L VACANCIES

The Secretary presented for record the following list of appointments made by Acting President Kinley:

Adams, E. W., Graduate Assistant in Chemistry, for nine months, beginning Ocotober 1, 1919, at a salary of thirty dollars ($30) a month. (October 3, 1919)*. Ahern, Roma, Nurse in the University Hospital, at a salary of one hundred dollars ($100) a month, beginning October 3, 1919, and continuing until further notice. (October 8, 1919). Albrecht, P. G., Associate in Physiological Chemistry in the Department of Physiology and Physiological Chemistry in the College of Medicine, from October 1, 1919, to September 1, 1920, on one-half time, at a salary of eight hundred fifty dollars ($850) a year, plus tuition and fees. (October 1, 1919). Allen, Marie T., Assistant in Mathematics, for five months, beginning September 1, 1919, at a salary of four hundred dollars ($400) for the period. (October 1, 1919). Amos, Winifred, Secretary to the High School Visitor, at a salary of one hundred dollars ($100) a month, beginning September 1, 1919, and continuing until further notice; subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (October 8, 1919). Andrews, J. H., Assistant Bursar in the Business Office, at a salary of twelve hundred dollars ($1,200) a year, beginning October 1, 1919, and continuing until further notice; subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (October 3, 1919). Appelle, C. G., x^ssistant in Physiology in the department of Physiology and Physiological Chemistry in the College of Medicine, for eleven months, beginning October 1, 1919, at a salary of six hundred dollars ($600) a year. (September 22, 1919). Arnold, Rossleene M., Assistant in Chemistry, for ten months, beginning September 1, 1919, at a salary of twelve hundred dollars ($1,200) for the period. This appointment superseding her previous appointment. (October 1, 1919). Baker, Inez E., Dispensary Nurse in the College of Medicine, at a salary of one thousand twenty dollars ($1,020) a year, beginning October 1, 1919, and continuing until further notice; subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (October 6,1919). Beach, F. PL, Auditor in the Business Office, at a salary of nineteen hundred dollars ($1,900) a year, beginning October 1, 1919, and continuing until further notice; subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commissiou. (October 3, 1919). Bence, Era, Instructor in Piano in the School of Music, for ten months, beginning October 1, 1919, at a salary of twelve hundred dollars ($1,200) for the period. (October 6, 1919). Blain, W. L., Assistant in Botany, from September 29, 1919, to June 30, 1920, on one-half time, at a salary of sixty dollars ($60) a month. (October 3, 1919). Bollman, J. L., Assistant in Physiological Chemistry in the Department of Physiology and Physiological Chemistry in the College of Medicine, from October 1, 1919, to August 1, 1920, on one-half time, at a salary of five hundred dollars ($500), plus tuition and fees for the period. (October 1, 1919).
