EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING, MARCH 15, 1919 A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held in the office of President Robert F. Carr, 2005 McCormick Building, Chicago, at 10 o'clock a. m. on Saturday, March 15, 1919 Mr. Robert F. Carr, Chairman, Mr. William L. Abbott, and Mr. Otic W. Hoit, members of the Committee, were present. President James was present.

MATTERS SUBMITTED BY PRESIDENT JAMES

The Executive Committee considered the following matters submitted by the President of the University.

REGISTRATION, FIRST AND SECOND QUARTERS (1) A report of the student enrollment of the first and second quarters of the academic year 1918-1919. This shows that the loss in attendance in the second semester compared with the first semester of the present year was less than in many other institutions. The total registration at Urbana for the present quarter will probably be 4000, more or less.
