At this point, at 10:30 p. m., the Board adjourned to meet at the University at 10 o'clock a. m. on Wednesday, March 12, 1919. MORNING SESSION, MARCH 12, 1919 When the Board convened on the morning of Wednesday, March 12, 1919, pursuant to the adjournment taken on the evening before, the following members were present: President Carr, Mr. Abbott, Mrs. Blake, Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Herbert, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Trimble. President James was present.

NEEDS OF DEPARTMENTS

The Board listened to the presentation of the needs of colleges and departments, as follows: The College of Education, by Professor Stevenson. The Department of Physical Education and a proposed school for coaches, by Director Huff. The Department of Military Science, by Major Field. The Health Service, by Dr. Beard. The Graduate School, by Dean Kinley. At 12:30 p. m. a recess was taken for luncheon. AFTERNOON SESSION, MARCH 12, 1919 When the Board convened after the recess, the same members were present as during the morning session, except President Carr, who came in a little later. Mr. Abbott acted as Chairman. President James was present.

NEEDS OF DEPARTMENTS

The Board resumed the consideration of needs of departments, as follows: The Library, presented by Director Windsor. The College of Law, presented by Dean Ballantine. The Department of Physical Education for Women, presented by Director Freer. The housing of men, presented by Dean Clark. The School of Music, presented by Director Erb.
