BOARD OF TRUSTEES

[March 11,

MR. R. F. CARR E L E C T E D P R E S I D E N T OF T H E B O A R D

The Secretary took the chair and called for nominations for the office of President of the Board. Mr. Abbott nominated Mr. Carr, and moved that the nominations be closed and that the Secretary cast the unanimous vote of the meeting for Mr. Carr. Mr. Trimble seconded the motion. The Secretary cast the vote and declared Mr. Carr elected President of the Board for one year, and Mr. Carr took the chair.

CUP P R E S E N T E D TO MR. A B B O T T

Mr. Carr, on behalf of the members of the Board, presented Mr. Abbott with a silver cup as a token of his twelve years of service as President of the Board. MR. H. E. CUNNINGHAM ELECTED SECRETARY On motion of Mrs. Evans, Mr. Harrison E. Cunningham was elected Secretary of the Board for one year.

MR. H. S. CAPRON E L E C T E D T R E A S U R E R

Mr. Abbott nominated Mr. Hazen S. Capron, Cashier of the First National Bank of Champaign, for the office of Treasurer, and moved that the nominations be closed and that the Secretary cast the unanimous vote of the Board for Mr. Capron as Treasurer. Mr. Trimble seconded the nomination. Mr. Hoit seconded Mr. Abbott's motion, and the motion prevailed. The Secretary cast the vote for Mr. Capron, and he was declared elected Treasurer for the term of two years, beginning when his bond should be approved by the Board. It was the understanding of the Board that this election was subject to the usual conditions of furnishing a satisfactory bond and the payment of interest at the rate of two per cent on daily balances, such interest to be credited monthly.

MR. LLOYD MOREY ELECTED COMPTROLLER

Mr. Trimble nominated Mr. Morey for the office of Comptroller for one year. On motion of Mr. Hoit, the nominations were closed and the Secretary cast the vote of the meeting for Mr. Morey, and he was declared elected.
