necessitate, of course, some very radical changes in our present arrangements. The Y. M. C. A. building, which the University has rented for the use of the School of Military Aeronautics, will be released from use for that purpose. The Woman's Residence Hall willl also be released from use for the same purpose. It is possible that we can use the Y. M. C. A. building for the S. A. T. C , and I am asking authority to take over the building for this purpose, giving up some of the houses which have been leased for housing the S. A. T. C. Professor White thinks it would be quite impossible to fit up the Woman's Residence Hall for the use of the women by mid-year, and unless that is done it would not be advisable or desirable to attempt to use it until next autumn. It is quite necessary, however, for us to make better arrangements for hospital accommodations than we have at the present time. It seems on the whole, therefore, that we might be using the Woman's Residence Hall until the close of the year as a general hospital for the S. A. T. C. and other students of the University. It would be used without any material additional expense. It could be easily fitted up and would be admirably adapted for that purpose.

On motion of Miss Watson, the matter of the use of the Y. M. C. A. building was referred to the President of the University, with power to act.

USE OF NAME UNIVERSITY PRESS (15) A letter from Miles and Parris, the University Press, 108 South Neil Street, Champaign, Illinois. November 18, 1918 Mr. H. E. Cunningham, Supt. of Printing, University of Illinois

DEAR S I R :

Realizing the inconvenience and confusion that is possible with a University Press and a University of Illinois Press in the same locality, we feel that one of the two concerns should change its name. We have been advertising our office for the past ten years as the University Press, and to change our name at this time would entail an expenditure of approximately $75.00. However, we feel that all enterprises of the state should work in perfect cooperation with the University, and that we, as one of these enterprises, are willing to change our name so that it will in no way conflict with the University of Illinois Press, provided, however, satisfactory arrangements can be made. Assuring you of our willingness to meet with you and talk this matter over at any time you may specify, we are, Very truly yours,

T H E UNIVERSITY PRESS,

By W. D. M.

On motion of Mr. Blair, this matter was referred to the President of the University with power to act.
