cafeteria for the mess, the University to pay the cost of all food used, the Y. W. C. A. to furnish labor, and to receive 20 cents per day per man. We estimate that under this arrangement the mess will cost 70 cents per day per man, making a total cost of $1.03. This is in excess of the present contract. Assuming that the strength of the Chicago unit continues as at present, and that the S. A. T. C. continues to June 30, the net amount of deficit on account of the Chicago unit will be $2,641.80. Cordially yours,

LLOYD MOREY
