MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES -OF THE- UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS June 11, 1918 The quarterly meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held in the Trustees' room, at the University, in Urbana, at 9 o'clock a. itn. on Tuesday, June 11, 1918. As there was no quorum, the Board took a recess "until 2:30 p. m. of the same day. MEETING O F T H E EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE J U N E 11, 1918 A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held in the Trustees' room, at the University, in Urbana, on Tuesday, June 11, 1918, during the recess in the meeting of the Board on the same day. Mr. W* L. Abbott, Chairman, and Mr. R. F. Carr, member of the Committee, were present; also Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Taggart, and Miss Watson, members of the Board. President James was present. MATTERS SUBMITTED^ BY PRESIDENT JAMES The Executive Committee considered the following matters submitted by the President of the University: RETIRING ALLOWANCE FOR PROFESSOR MOSS (1) A request from Professor Charles Melville Moss for retirement from active service as Professor of the Classics.
