L I F E OF REGENT JOHN MILTON GREGORY

The following statement: I have had some negotiations with Miss Allene Gregory, instructor in English in the University, about writing a biography of her father, Doctor John M. Gregory, the first Regent of the University. I think it would be well for the University to issue this biography as one of the semi-centennial publications. On motion of Mr. Blair, the President of the University was authorized to publish such a biography prepared by Doctor Allene Gregory, if in his judgment the biography is worthy and suitable for publication.

This statement was received for record.

It is to be hoped that at no distant date the University can give more space for the Natural History Museum, which is badly crowded, so that no very satisfactory work can b @ done until more space is provided. This statement was received for record.
