MEETING OF THE BOARL> OF TRUSTEES

UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS

July 21, 1916

A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 12 o'clock noon on Friday, July 21, 1916, pursuant to the following notice which was sent out by the Secretary on July 15, 1916:

On the call of the President, Mr. W. L. Abbott, there will be a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, on Friday, July 21, 1916, at 12 o'clock noon, to consider such matters as the committees of the Board and the President of the University may submit, and such other matters as may be duly presented.

When the Board convened, the following members were present: President Abbott, Mrs. Busey, Mr. Carr, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Henrotin, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Small, Mr. Ward, Miss Watson. President James was present; and, also, during a part of the afternoon, Professor J. M. White, Supervising Architect

MINUTES APPROVED

The Secretary presented the minutes of the meeting of June 13, 1916. On motion of Mrs. Henrotin, the minutes were approved as printed on pages 813 to 841, above.
