MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES -OF THE- UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS April 4,1917 A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstoile Hotel, in Chicago, at 12 o'clock noon on Wednesday, April 4, 1917, pursuant to the following notice which was sent out by the Secretary on March 28, 1917: On the call of the President, Mr. W. L. Abbott, there will be a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 12 o'clock noon, on Wednesday, April 4, 1917, to consider such matters as the committees of the Board and the President of the University may submit, and such other matters as may be duly presented. When the Board convened, the following members were present : President Abbott, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Henrotin, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Taggart, Mr. Ward, Miss Watson. President James was present. MINUTES APPROVED The Secretary presented the minutes of the meeting of March 13, 1917. On motion of Mrs. Henrotin, the minutes were approved as printed above on pages 243 to 270, inclusive. TREASURER'S BOND APPROVED Mr. Ward presented for the Finance Committee the bond of Mr. E. D. Hulbert as Treasurer of the University, with the recommendation that the bond be accepted.
