APPOINTMENT'S TO FILL VACANCIES

The Secretary presented for record the following list of appointments made by President James:

Adams, Roger, Assistant Professor of Chemistry for the term of three years from September 1, 1916, at a salary of twenty-eight hundred dollars ($2800) a year. (September 2, 1916.*) Adler, Leon, Student Assistant in Chemistry, for ten months beginning September 1, 1916, at a salary of one hundred dollars ($100). (September 14, 1916.) d'Amato, Orlando, Assistant in Romance Languages, for ten months beginning September 1, 1916, at a salary of one thousand dollars ($1000) for the period. (September 8, 1916.) Anderegg, F. O., Instructor in Chemistry for the academic year beginning September 1, 1916, at a salary of twelve hundred dollars ($1200) ; this appointment superseding his former appointment as research assistant. (September 2, 1916.) Anderson, C. W., Student Clerk in the Library, on one-half time, at a salary of thirty dollars ($30) a month, beginning October 1, 1916, and continuing until August 31, 1917. (October 7, 1916.) Anderson, M. R., Student Assistant in Radiography for the session of 1916-17, without pay. (September 25, 1916.) Anderson, Viola J., Instructor in Household Science, for ten months beginning September 15, 1916, at a salary of thirteen hundred dollars ($1300) for the period. (September 8, 1916.) Austin, M. M., Student Assistant in Chemistry for the ten months beginning September 1, 1916, at a salary of one hundred dollars ($100) for the period. (September 20, 1916.) Austin, M. M., Graduate Assistant in Chemistry, at a salary of thirty dollars ($30) a month for nine months beginning October 1, 1916, this appointment superseding his former appointment as student assistant. (October 24, 1916.) Babcock, K. C , Director of the Summer Session for 1917. (November 7, 1916.) Bach y Rita, P., Assistant in Romance Languages, for ten months beginning September 1, 1916, at a salary of one thousand dollars ($1000) for the period. (September 25, 1916.) Badger, Eunice, Student Assistant in Physical Education for Women, for the academic year beginning September 1, 1916, at a salary of two hundred dollars ($200) for the year. (August 23, 1916) Baechtold, Elsie L., Librarian in the Engineering Library for one year beginning September 1, 1916, at a salary of one thousand dollars ($1000) for the year. (July 26, 1916.) Baldwin, L. S., Instructor in General Engineering Drawing, at the rate of one thousand dollars ($1000) for ten months' service, work and salary to begin when he reports for duty and to end June 30, 1917. (September 18, 1916.)
