RATE OF INTEREST ON TREASURER'S BALANCES. Mr. Hoit presented for the Finance Committee a request from Treasurer M. W. Busey that he he released from his obligation to pay interest on daily balances in his hands [see Report of 1914, p. 206], with the recommendation from the committee that the rate of interest to he paid by the Treasurer on daily balances during the biennium just ending be fixed at one per cent. Miss Watson offered the motion that the recommendation of the Finance Committee be concurred in. The matter was discussed at some length. Mrs. Henrotin moved as a substitute that the matter be referred to the new Finance Committee: The substitute motion was adopted.

TREASURER'S REPORT.

Mr. Hoit also presented for the Finance Committee the Treasurer's report for the quarter ending December 31, 1914. This report was received for record.
