AGRONOMY EXPERIMENT FIELD LEASES.

1. Location Lessor Date Tenure Annual Rental Antioch D. M. White Feb, 25, 1914 Indefinite $8.50 Description One and seven-tenths (1.7) acres in the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of section 22, township 46 north, range 10 east of the third principal meridian; located on the farm of David M. White, three miles southeast of Antioch, Lake County, 111. Conditions Either party may terminate lease at the end of any biennium. 2. Location Lessor' ' Date Tenure Annual Rental Bloomington 2d Presby. Nov. 18, 1913 Indefinite $60.00 Church Description Four and four-tenths (4.4) acres of land, beginning at the northeast corner of the northwest quarter (%) of the southwest quarter (%) of section twenty-five (25), township twenty-four (24) north, range two (2) east of the third principal meridian, thence south twenty-two (22) rods, thence- west thirty-two (32) rods, thence north twenty-two (22) rods, thence east thirty-two (32) rods to the point of beginning. Condition University may terminate lease at the end of any year. 3. Location Lessor Date Tenure Annual Rental Carlinville Blackburn College Aug. 3, 1909 Indefinite None Description Twenty acres of land located in the north one-half (N. %) of the southeast one-fourth (S. E. %) of the southeast one-fourth (S. E. %) of section twenty-one (21), township ten (10) north, and range seven (7) west of the third principal meridian. Conditions Lease? shall be terminated and control of land revert to Blackburn College if University of Illinois discontinues use of lan& for agricultural experimentation for a period longer than two years. 4. Braden Mar. 8, 1910 Indefinite $108.00 Description Eighteen (18) acres of land, being all of the north half of the southeast quarter of the northwest quarter of section nineteen (19), township five (5) south, range four (4) west of the third principal meridian, except about one and one-half acres in- the northeast corner of said tract and about one-half acre in farm road. Conditions The said W. E. Braden to reserve all coal, oil, gas, and mineral rights belonging to said land with privilege of working out same, provided coal shaft or buildings be not placed thereon. This lease is given subject to a lease given on above described land in 1908 for purposes of drilling for oil and gas. University of Illinois may terminate lease at the end of any biennium after January 1, 1912. 5. Location Lessor Date Tenure Annual Rental DeKalb Fairview Park Jan. 28, 1914 Dec. 31, 1924 $290.00 Cemetary Assoc. Description A tract of land sixty-eight (68) rods wide, north and south, and eighty-three (83) rods long, east and west, lying in the southeast corner of the southeast quarter of section twenty-seven (27), township forty (40) north, range four (4) east of the third principal meridian. Also land lying north of driveway, which is eighty-three (83) rods long and about two (2) rods wide, north and south. The total amount of land used by the station comprises thirty-six and one-fourth (36%) acres. Conditions Either party may terminate lease at the end of any year. If the Cemetery Association desires to terminate lease, it must give twelve x months' notice. 6. Location Lessor Date Tenure . Annual Rental DuBois A. A. Hinkley Feb. 26, 1914 Indefinite $25.00 Description Five (5) acres in the south half of the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of section 29, township 3 south, range 1 west of the third principal meridian; located on the farm of A. A. Hinckley, one mile northwest of DuBois, 111. Conditions University may terminate lease^ at the end of any year by giving notice in writing at least ninety days prior. 7.
