Feldkamp, Amelia, Clerk in the Dairy Department, at a salary of fifty dollars ($50) a month, beginning January 1, 1914, and continuing until further notice; this appointment superseding her previous appointment at forty dollars ($40) a month. (January 2, 1914.) FrSchet, M., Professor of Mathematics, for the academic year 1914-15, at a salary of three thousand dollars ($3,000) for the year, subject to the terms of a letter addressed to Professor FrSchet by President James under date of November 20, 1913. (December 22, 1913.) Giehler, P. J., Assistant in Military Science,-' for the academic year 1913-14, at a salary of one hundred dollars ($100) for the year, payable at the rate of twenty dollars ($20) a month for the five months beginning February 1, 1914. (January 14, 1914.) Little, Roger F., Lecturer on Business Law, for the second semester of the academic year 1913-14, at a salary of two hundred fifty dollars ($250) for the semester. (January 19, 1914.) Luther, Cornelia Maria, Stenographer in the Library, for eight and one-half months, beginning December 15, 1913, at a salary of forty dollars ($40) a month. (January 17, 1914.) Phelps, Vergil Vivian, Executive Clerk in the President's Office, at a salary of eighteen hundred dollars ($1,800) per annum, beginning January 1, 1914, and continuing until further notice, vice J. H. Kelley, resigned. (January 2, 1914.) Pillsbury, Warren H., Instructor in Law, beginning January 15, 1914, and continuing until June 30, 1914, at a salary of eleven hundred dollars ($1,100) for the period specified; this appointment superseding his previous appointment beginning February 1, 1914, at one thousand ($1,000). (January 16, 1914.) Randall, Frank M., Laboratory Helper in Physiology and Keeper of the Animal Room in the College of Medicine, at a salary of fifty dollars ($50) a month, beginning as soon as he shall report for service, and continuing until further notice. (January 19, 1914.) Rich, P. C, Assistant in Military Science, for the academic year 1913-14, at a salary of one hundred dollars ($100) for the year, payable at the rate of twenty dollars ($20) a month for the five months beginning February 1, 1914. (January 14, 1914.) Storey, Russell M., Assistant in Political Science, on half time, beginning February 1, 1914, and continuing until June 30, 1914, at a salary of five hundred dollars ($500) for the time specified. (January 17, 1914.) Velzy, C. R., Assistant in Military Science, for the academic year 1913-14, at a salary of one hundred dollars ($100) for the year, payable at the rate of twenty dollars ($20) a month for the five months beginning February 1, 1914. The secretary presented the report of Prof. George E. Frazer, Comptroller, for the quarter ending December 31, 1913. This report was received for record:

DEAR SIR : I have the honor to hand you herewith the quarterly report of the business office for the three months ending December 31, 1913. Included in this report you will find schedules of cash receipts and disbursements, of expenditures from State appropriations, and charges against all departments and accounts as at December 31, 1913. You will find' complete reconciliations of accounts of the business office with those of the State Auditor and the University treasurer in Schedules 5 and 6. In Schedule 7 is given a statement of amounts collected by the State Treasurer on the mill tax fund for the twelve months ending December 31, 1913. Under separate covers, as a part of this report, are also presented lists of warrants drawn against the University treasurer and of vouchers certified to the State Auditor. Respectfully submitted,
