UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS. [MR. ZIMMERMAN'S LETTER.]

[ J a n u a r y 7,

January 6, 1913. Dr. Edmund J. James} President, University of Illinois, JJrhana, III. DEAR MR. JAMBS: The site suggested for the proposed new University Library Building seems to me to be a very good one and does not interfere with the general scheme of the group plan. The building should be located so that the north front of the building centers on Wright Street, running from that point west along the north line of the present Horticultural Orchards to Sixth Street, and east along the same line projected to Burrill Avenue, and as close to the said line as the general campus plans will permit. Sincerely yours,

W. CARBYS ZIMMERMAN.

The board adjourned.

W?L. ABBOTT, C. M. MCCONN, Secretary. President.
