EEPORTS OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE.

Mr. Abbott,, Chairman of the Executive Committee, presented a report of the meeting held at the LaSalle Hotel, in Chicago, Friday, J u l y 29, 1910. This report is printed on pages 596 to 603, inclusive, of the report for 1910. Mr. Abbott also presented the following report of the action taken, by the Executive Committee August 22, 1910:

CHICAGO, Sept. 17, 1910.

Mr, W. L. Pillsoury, Secretary, Board of Trustees, University of Illinois, Vroana, III.: BEAR SIR—Under date of August 22 the Executive Committee of the board sent an order to Henry A. Haugan, treasurer of Illinois, directing him to exchange the seventeen notes of the College of Physicians and Surgeons for: a certain new document from the College of Physicians and Surgeons,-, acknowledging an indebtedness to the University of $23,196.18. A copy of the order from the Executive Committee to the treasurer is now in the hands of the secretary of the board, included in the file of papers relating to the new contract with the College of Physicians and Surgeons, and is designated "J." A copy of the document for which the treasurer exchanged the seventeen notes is also in the same file in the secretary's hands, and is designated "I 1." Respectfully,
