Meeting of September 12, 1911.

The regular quarterly meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held in the trustees' room, at the University, in Urbana, at 1:00 p. m., on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 1911. The following members of the board were present: Mr. Abbott, Mrs. Busey, Mr. Grout, Mr. Hatch, Mr. Moore. President James was present. There being no quorum present, the board adjourned to meet later in the day at the call of the president.

Meeting of the Executive Committee September 12, 1911.

A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held in the trustees5 room at the University, in Urbana, immediately following the adjournment of the quarterly meeting of Sept. 12, 1911. There were present: Messrs. Abbott, Grout and Hatch, members of the committee, Mrs. Busey and Mr. Moore, members of the board, and President James.

APPOINTMENTS TO- F I L L VACANCIES.

The secretary presented the following report of appointments made by the president of the University to fill vacancies provided for in the budget which was passed on July 8, 1911, and vacancies caused by resignation and declination: Adler, Frederick M., fellow in German, for the academic year 1911-1912, with a stipend of three hundred dollars ($300.00) for the year, vice Lussky, resigned. (June 2, 1911.) Alexander, Lilla M., catalog assistant in the Library, for ten months beginning Sept. 1, 1911, at a salary of sixty dollars ($60.00) a month. (Aug. 12, 1911.) Baldwin, George H., research assistant in ceramics, for ten months beginning Sept. 1, 1911, with a stipend of fifty dollars ($50.00) a month. (July 29, 1911.)
