The secretary, presented the following report of appointments made by President James to fill positions provided for in the budget of July 29, 1910, or by more recent action of the board, or to "fill vacancies caused by resignation, and not ; previously reported: Barradell, A. L., instructor in mathematics in the Academy, at a salary of three hundred dollars ($300.00), for the remainder of the school year, work and salary to begin March 27, 1911, vice S. E. Boomer. (March 25, 1911.) Blackwell, Mary, typist in the catalog department of the Library, at a salary of fifty dollars ($50.00) a month, from April 1, 1911, until August 31, 1911, vice H'elen C. Magoon, resigned. (May 9, 1911.) Crowder, B. H., custodian in the Law Library, at a salary of fifteen dollars ($15.00) a month, from March 1, 1911, to June 15, 1911, vice S. A. Thompson, resigned. (April 18, 1911.) Graham, Mary, assistant in English, at a salary of eighty dollars ($80.00.) a month, from April 1, 1911, until the close of the academic year, vice Ruth Kelso, resigned. (March 21, 1911.) H'utchings, John Bacon, Jr., assistant in architectural engineering, at a salary of one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00) a month, for the term of four months from February 8, 1911, to June 8, 1911. (March 21, 1911.) Levey, C. J., assistant in general engineering drawing from May 7, 1911, to June 7, 1911, at a remuneration of sixty-five dollars ($65), vice I. G. Ferguson, resigned. (May 25, 1911.) Lund, Stella, clerk in the office of the College of Engineering, at a salary of fifty-five dollars ($55.00) a month, beginning March 7, 1911, vice Elizabeth Coldwell, resigned. (March 27, 1911.) Mosher, William ,Earl, research fellow in the Engineering Experiment Station, for the term of two years beginning September 1, 1911, at an annual stipend of five hundred dollars ($500.00). (May 23, 1911.)
