Meeting of July 29, 1910.

A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the LaSalle hotel, in Chicago, July 29, 1910, pursuant to the following notice which was sent out by the secretary July 23,1910: Upon the call of the president, Mr. W. L. Abbott, there will be a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois at 12:00 m., Friday, July 29, 1910, at the LaSalle Hotel, in Chicago, to consider such matters as the committees of the board and the president of the University may submit, and such other business as may be duly presented. When the board met pursuant to this call, the following members were present: Messrs. Abbott, Blair, Davison, Hatch and Mrs. Evans; absent, Governor Deneen and Messrs. Crebs, Grout, Meeker, Moore, and Mrs. Busey and Mrs. Bahrenburg. President James was present. There being no quorum present, the board adjourned.

Meeting of the Executive Committee.

A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the LaSalle hotel, in Chicago, the afternoon of Friday, July 29, 1910. Of the committee Messrs. Abbott and Hatch were present; Mr. Grout was absent. Other members of the board present were, Messrs Blair, Davison and Mrs. Evans. President James, the secretary, Mr. W. L. Pillsbury, and the comptroller, Professor S. W. Shattuck, were present. The secretary presented the minutes of the adjourned meeting of the Board of Trustees, held June 29, 1910, and the minutes were approved as presented. The committee also approved the minutes of the special meeting of June 1, 1910, and of the regular meeting held June 13, 1910. The minutes of these two meetings were presented at the meeting of June 29, 1910, but the approval was passed at the time they were presented.
