APPOINTMENT OP NEW COMMANDANT. 7. A recommendation that the Board of Trustees authorize the president of the University to approve the appointment of Major B. C. Morse of the 27th U. S. Infantry, now stationed at Fort Sheridan, 111., in case the president .of the University considers the appointment a desirable one after a personal interview with Major Morse. Voted that said recommendation be approved. REAPPOINTMENTS. 8. That the president of the University be authorized to reappoint to the present positions at the present salaries such persons as may be recommended for such reappointment by the proper authorities. Voted to give the authority. POSITIONS MAY BE TENDERED. 9. That the president of the University be authorized to tender the following positions to the persons named at the salaries indicated: Edith Bratton, instructor in the Music School for the academic year 1910-11, at a salary of $900.00, work and salary to begin Sept. 1, 1910. D. S. Blondheim, instructor in Romance Languages, at a salary of $1,000.00 for the academic year 1910-11, work and salary to begin Sept. 1, 1910. ' P. W. Scott, associate in English, at a salary of $1,800.00 for two years beginning Sept. 1, 1910. T. H. Guild, associate in English, at a salary of $1,500.00 for the term of two years beginning Sept. 1, 1910. Martha J. Kyle, instructor in English for the academic year 1910-11, at a salary of $1,200.00, work and salary to begin Sept. 1, 1910. . W. P. Dodd, associate in Political Science, a>t a salary of $1,800.00 for two years, beginning Sept. 1, 1910. Prank C. Becht, instructor in Physiology, with rank of assistant professor, for one year, beginning Sept. 1, 1910, at a salary of $2,000.0.0. P. M. Mann, professor of Architect and head of the Department of Architecture, at a salary of $4,000.00 per annum, work and salary beginning Sept. 1, 1910. Voted that the authority be given. To the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois: Your Executive Committee reports t h a t at a meeting held J u n e 13, 1910, at which all members were present, a letter was received from Mr. L i n n A. Everhart asking t h a t he be allowed $200.00 for publishing The Illini for 1909, during commencement week. # This was referred to the president of the University for report. ' I t was voted t h a t Mr. C. M. McConn be made Assistant Eegistrar, beginning J u l y 1, 1910, and registrar for the remainder of the year, beginniilg October, 1910, to J u n e 30, 1911, and that his salary for the year be $2,500.00.
