To the Board, of Trustees of the University of Illinois: The Committee on School of Pharmacy recommends that the lease of the building now occupied by the School of Pharmacy be extended for as long a term as the present option will allow and that the comptroller be instructed to secure the desired extension.

BUDGET FOR 1909-1910.

To the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois: Your Committee on the School of Pharmacy recommends the approval by the board the budget of the School of Pharmacy for the year 1909-10 as follows: For instruction $ 8,785 00 For services , 2,610 00 For expenses 11,270 00 For taxes. 3,000 00 Total '. $25,665 00 The estimated income of the school is: Tuition fees from students, basis of attendance of 200.. $15,000 00 Laboratory deposits 2,000 00 State appropriation 10,000 00 Total Balance 27,000 00 $1,335 00

Committee on School of Pharmacy. The budget was approved by the following vote: Yeas, Messrs. Abbott, Crebs, Grout, Hatch and Moore, and Mrs. Busey and Mrs. E v a n s ; nays, n o n e ; absent, Governor Deneen, Messrs. Blair, Davison and Meeker and Mrs. Alexander-Bahrenburg. A communication was received from Sister Benigna asking for reduction of her fees as a student at the School of Pharmacy. On motion of Mr. Abbott, a reduction of $50.00 in her fees was .authorized.

D O N A T I O N S OF L A N D .

The secretary presented two deeds conveying for the nominal consideration of one dollar, one a tract of land in Bureau county, and the other a tract of land in Woodford county, for the use of the Agronomy department of the University.
