20. A communication from Professor H. L. Schoolcraft, resigning his position as assistant professor in the University of Illinois to take effect Aug. 31, 1908. , ' ' Voted that the resignation be accepted.

APPROVAL OP M I N U T E S .

On motion of Mrs. Busey, it was voted t h a t the minutes of the board should be approved when presented.

T A X E S ON P H A R M A C Y B U I L D I N G .

Authority was given to the president of the board to pay the taxes on the Pharmacy building, and an appropriation of 0^301.95 from Pharmacy funds was made therefor. The comptroller's report was received a^.u referred to the Committee on Finance.

Abbott, President, Board of Trustees, University of Illinois: SIR—I have the honor to ha.nd you herewith the following financial statement and papers: Paper A is a statement ,of the current appropriations June 30, 1908. Paper B is- a statement of the State appropriations June 30, 1908. Paper G is a statement of the United States fund June 30, 1908. Paper E is a statement of the United States Agricultural Experiment station appropriations June 30, 1908. Paper F is a statement of the School of Pharmacy appropriations June 30, 1908. Paper G is a statement of the College of Medicine appropriations June 30, 1908. " • Paper H is an estimate of the receipts and expenses for the twelve months ending June 30, 1909. Paper I is a list of the appropriations the board is requested to make at this time. Paper L is a report of the receipts by the Chief Clerk for the three months ending June 30, 1908. Paper M is a list of the general University vouchers presented for audit, being Nos. 10076 to 14000, inclusive. Paper O is a list of the United States Agricultural Experiment Station vouchers presented for audit, being Nos. 329 to 508, inclusive. Paper P is a list of the School of Pharmacy vouchers presented for audit, being Nos. 227 to 288, inclusive. Paper Q is a list of the College of Medicine vouchers presented for audit, being Nos. 939 to 1246, inclusive. Paper R is an inventory of Books, Apparatus, Equipment, Supplies, etc., as of July 1, 1908. ' Respectfully submitted,
