BUILDING.

Bids h a v i n g been received for t h e h e a t i n g a n d v e n t i l a t i n g of t h e addition to t h e N a t u r a l H i s t o r y building, t h e y were ordered opened. The following a l t e r n a t e propositions were requested in t h e a d v e r t i s e m e n t : Bid A—Steam h e a t i n g w i t h W a r r e n Webster Vacuum System a n d P o w e r s ' S y s t e m of T e m p e r a t u r e Cpntrol. Bid B—Steam h e a t i n g w i t h P a u l V a c u u m System a n d P o w e r s ' System of Temperature Control. Bid C—Substitute V a n A u k e n V a c u u m System, a d d or deduct from A. Bid D—Substitute a n y other 2-pipe v a c u u m system, deduct from A. Bid E—Substitute a n y other a u t o m a t i c t e m p e r a t u r e control system ( s t a t e ^which), add or deduct from Bid A. Bid F—Add to Bid A for t h e v e n t i l a t i n g system, including completion of same system of t e m p e r a t u r e control as for s t e a m h e a t i n g system. Bid G—Deduct if t h e vertical supply a n d vent ducts in F i n p a r t i t i o n s a r e ftuilt by others. Bid H—Alternate for Bid F if only t h e a t t i c e x h a u s t system is installed.
