Mr. Grout, from the Committee on Finance, presented the report of the Audit Company on its examination of the books and accounts qf the University for the quarter ending Sept. 30, 1908: Hon. Lewis L. Lehman, Chairman, Finance Committee, University of Illinois, Mattoon, Illinois: DEAR SIR—In compliance with your instructions, we have made an audit of the books of account of the University of Illinois for the period from July 1 to September 30, 1908, being the first quarter of your fiscal year, and submit herewith our report, together with the appended exhibits and schedules: Exhibit A—Statement of receipts from July 1 to Sept. 30, 1908.
