University of Illinois

FOR THE

YEAR ENDING AUGUST 31, 1907

Meeting of September 25, 1906.

The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois met at the University at 9:00 o'clock a. m., September 25, 1906. The members present were Messrs. Abbott, Bullard, Davison, Kerrick, Lehman, McLean and Mrs. Alexander, Mrs. Evans and Mrs. Busey; absent, (xovernor Deneen and Messrs. Bayliss and Barber. President James was present. A telephone message was received by the secretary from Governor Deneen stating that he had planned to attend the meeting of the board at this time but that he had been unexpectedly detained in Springfield. The secretary presented the minutes of the meeting of the board held June 11, 1906, and of the special meeting held June 27,1906. These were approved as presented.

MATTERS PRESENTED BY PRESIDENT JAMES.

President James announced that the following persons had been appointed a committee on revision of rules governing the use of the Woman's building: Deans Grreene and Clark and Mrs. Daniels. (See minutes of meeting June 27, 1906.
