and fitted up with lockers, baths, etc., recommending that, instead a part of the present F a r m Mehcanics Building be given to the athletic department to be fitted up at the estimated cost of $534.20. T h e report was approved, and the amount of money needed appropriated, the work to be in charge of the Committee.

S A L E OF W A R E H O U S E BUILDING.

Professor Shattuck was authorized to sell the warehouse building, and was directed to put the amount received to the credit of the proper fund. T h e President presented the following m a t t e r s : 1. The Dean of the College of Agriculture requests authority to convert the small room adjoining the offices of the present animal husbandry department and to the right of the main entrance, into a fire-proof vault for storing and filing the experimental records of the department. It is estimated that the cost of this alteration would be $150. Voted that the request be granted and the expenditure be authorized and charged to the funds of the agricultural department. . 2. The Director of the School of Music recommends that Mr. Henry C. Scheld be elected Instructor in Violin and Theory for the year 1906-7 at a salary of $1,200 a year, work and salary to begin September 1, 1906. This man is to take the place of Mr. Schwartz who will be on leave of absence for the coming year. The salary is the same as that which was paid to Mr. Schwartz. Voted that the recommendation be approved. 3. I submit the lists of persons recommended by the Faculties of the School of Pharmacy and the College of Dentistry for graduation at the approaching commencements of the respective schools. Voted that the President be authorized to confer the appropriate degrees upon the persons whose names are in these lists.
