Robert B. Otis, instructor in general engineering drawing, in the place of Mr. G. W. Eckard, resigned, for eight months, at a salary of $80.00 a month. Earl D. Finch, stenographer in the Law School at a salary of $15.00 a month, beginning December 1,-1905. Truman L. Kelley, library stenographer on full time from January to September 1, at $50.00 a month. Miss Bertha J. Bond has been * appointed loan desk assistant in the Library at a salary of $30.00 a month for half time, beginning January 1, 1906. Miss Helen V. Calhoun has been appointed continuation assistant at a salary of $60.00 a month, beginning January 1, 1906. Mr. James Renwick Withrow has been appointed instructor in analytical chemistry in the place of Mr. Ovitz, transferred to the Engineering Experiment Station, at a salary of $70.00 a month, beginning February 1 and running to July 1, 1906. Mr. Perry Fox Trowbridge has been appointed instructor in general chemistry, in place of Mr. Withrow, at a salary of $70.00 a month, beginning February 1 and running to'July 1, 1906. I have appointed Miss Jessie Jane Bullock as assistant in the department of mathematics to take charge of the class which Mr. Reddick would have taken during the second semester. She is to receive $30.00 per month from February 1 to July 1, 1906. T h e President of the Board was authorized to satisfy on the record a mortgage given by A n g u s McLennan, conveying the S. W . }4 °f Section 2 1 , Township 19 North, R a n g e 9 East of 3d E. M., to secure the payment of a part of the purchase money upon the sale of said tract of land, the purchase money having now been paid in full.
