Besolved, That we, the Illinois State Teachers' Association in Springfield assembled, Dee. 28,1900, do hereby recommend to the Illinois State University Trustees the favorable consideration of the establishment of Extension "Nature Study" Courses throughout the State of Illinois. Secretary Illinois State Teachers1 AssJn. The Board then adjourned to 2:30 o'clock p. m. AFTEKNOON SESSION. When the Board met pursuant to adjournment the members present in the morning were present with the exception of Messrs. Bayliss, Conrad, Hatch, and McKay. The Committee appointed at the January meeting of the Board to present plans for the public dedication of the Agricultural Buildings, suggested that the making of arrangements for the dedication be left with the committee, with power to act, and recommended that the dedication be held sometime in the month of May next and that an appropriation of not to exceed $250 be made for the expenses thereof. STANDING COMMITTEES. The standing committees for the ensuing year are < announced by President Smith as follows: Agriculture.—Hatch, Chairm; Conrad, McKay, Abbott, Carriel. Buildings and Grounds.—Bullard, Chairman; McLean, Carriel, Nightingale, Smith. Finance. —McKay, Chairman; Nightingale, Conrad, McLean. Instruction.—Nightingale, Chairman; Bayliss, Hatch, Abbott, Publication.—Alexander, Chairman; Abbott, Bayliss, Bullard, Library.—Bayliss, Chairman; Alexander, Hatch. Students' Welfare.—Carriel, Chairman; McKay, Alexander. School of Pharmacy.—Abbott, Chairman; Conrad, McLean. College of Medicine.—McLean, Chairman; Conrad, McKay, Bullard. The Board adjourned.
