GENTLEMEN:—I have the honor to report that under the authority given by your action of April 17, 1900, I have settled with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Chicago the financial matters of the agreement which terminated May 1, 1900. The balance found due that corporation is $28,380.97, this amount has been paid over and the University treasurer has received the $8,000 provided for in the new agreement. 1 enclose herewith two papers which I wish to make a part of this report.
