BUSINESS MANAGER'S REPORT. UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS, September 15, 1896.

James E. Paper B, the same for the State appropriations. Paper C, a list of vouchers presented for audit, being Nos. 1426 to 2350, inclusive, series 1895-96. Paper D, estimates for the twelve months ending June 30, 1897. Paper E, appropriations the Board is requested to make at this time. Papers F, G and H, bills for which appropriations are requested. I also ask for the appropriation of the balance, $750, of the State appropriation for shop practice, as it is a matter of economy to purchase the iron, coke, etc., for the year, at this time. An additional appropriation for the new roof of the Chemical Laboratory will be required. Paper J, a statement of receipts for June, 1896; Paper K, the inventory of apparatus and furniture.
