To the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois: GENTLEMEN:—Your Finance Committee reports that it has examined the report of your Treasurer, up to and including August 31, 1894, and finds that during the past three months the following bonds belonging to the endowment fund have been paid:

The city of Urbana, bond No. 2 Montgomery county, school bond No. 5 Champaign county, school bond No. 1 Sangamon county, school bond No. 2 Montgomery county, school bond No. 1 Champaign Board of Education bonds, Nos. 17 to 20 inclusive.. Morgan county, school bond No. 2

$1,000 00 1,000 00 200 00 1,000 00 500 00 2,000 00 1,000 00 $6,700 00

We also find that there has not been any purchase of new bonds for said endowment fund, and that there is now on hand of said fund the sum of $30,619.50 uninvested. Your Committee therefore recommends that the Treasurer be directed to invest said amount of endowment fund in such bonds, as the law authorizes, and that he report his action in this matter at the next meeting of the Board.
