UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS.

A sum n o t t o exceed $90 was appropriated from current funds t o be expended in sending The Illini for the rest of the college year t o county superintendents of schools and t o high schools. Mr. Pillsbury reported a d o n a t i o n t o the University of 242 volumes and a large number of pamphlets by Mrs. S a r a h >S. F l a g g , of Moro, 111. These books are from the library of her husband, t h e late H o n . Willard C. Flagg, who was one of t h e charter members of this Board, and for m a n y years its Corresponding Secretary. Messrs. McLean, R a a b , and Shawhan were appointed a committee t o prepare a resolution acknowledging this d o n a t i o n . The Board then adiourned t o 7:30 o'clock.
