Treasurer.

The Treasurer stated t h a t he had received from payment of bonds held as a part of the endowment fund, $14,700.00; and that he had bought bonds for this fund to the amount of $36,150.00, at a premium of $1,199.00 for which he asked an appropriation. On motion of Mr. Cobb, the report on the endowment fund was received, and the amount of $1,199.00 was appropriated from current funds to pay the premium. The Business Agent, Professor Shattuck, presented the following report:

Ballard, Esq., President Board of Trustees, University of Illinois, D E A R S I R : I have the honor to hand you herewith the following financial statements and reports: Paper A is a statement of the current appropriations for the six months ending September 1, 1891. Paper B gives the condition of the state appropriations, September 1, 1891. Paper C gives the condition of the United States fund, September 1, 1891. Paper D is a list of vouchers presented for audit, being 776 to 1,100 inclusive. Paper E is an estimate of receipts and expenses for the twelve months ending September 1, 1892. Paper F is a list of the usual appropriations for six months. The Board is also asked to make the following assignments from state appropriations:
